Cucumbers in Cream
Yield: 6 - 8 servings
Ingredients
| 3 | medium cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced | ||

| 1 | medium onion, sliced | ||
|
|
|||
| 2 | cups | water | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|
|||
| 3/4 | cup | whipping cream | |
|
|
|||
| 1/4 | cup | sugar | |
|
|
|||
| 1/4 | cup | vinegar | |
|
|
|||
Directions:
In a bowl, combine cucumbers, onion, water and salt; let stand for one hour and drain. In a serving bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Add cucumbers and onions; toss gently. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to blend flavors.
