Cream Havarti and Apple Cookies
Yield: Makes 3 dozen
Ingredients
| 3/4 | cup | all purpose flour | |

| 3/4 | cup | butter, softened | |
|
|
|||
| 1/4 | cup | brown sugar | |
|
|
|||
| 1 | egg | ||
|
|
|||
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|
|||
| 1-1/2 | cups | rolled oats, uncooked | |
|
|
|||
| 6 | ounces | cream havarti cheese, shredded | |
|
|
|||
| 3/4 | cup | raisins | |
|
|
|||
| 1 | cup | green apple, peeled and chopped | |
|
|
|||
Directions:
Combine first eight ingredients together in a large bowl, and mix well.
Add oats, cheese, raisins and stir to combine. Gently fold in the apples.
Drop by heaping tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 375 oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool on pan for 1 minute, then transfer to rack to cool completely.
